Joyful Ranch Counseling hosted its first annual Christmas fundraiser Dec. 14 from 1-5 p.m. The event featured horse rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses, photos with Santa, and a silent auction.
All the proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to expand the organization’s office space so it can serve more people in the community.
“We only have one office and it's very small. We have collaborated with several different places in this area, like the (Springtown) high school, Wise County and Parker County probation departments, some sex trafficking homes in the area to expand our groups and offer parenting classes,” Joyful Ranch Counseling Executive Director/Lead Counselor Jackie Carlino said.
