The Springtown Lady Porcupines closed out a stretch of home games with a split decision last week, showing resilience as they prepare for the start of district play.
Springtown battled Hamilton Tuesday, Dec. 9, but came up short in a 56-42 loss. Brylynn Bazzell led the Lady Porcupines with 12 points, while Olivia Williams added 10 and Addy Burtnett chipped in eight in the setback.
The Lady Porcupines responded Friday, Dec. 12, with an impressive 50-23 victory over a talented Denton High Broncos squad. Springtown set the tone early and never looked back. Bazzell once again paced the offense with 13 points, and Williams finished with 12 in the win.
