The Springtown boys and girls wrestling teams turned in strong performances at the Max Dipper Memorial Classic at Weatherford High School in Oklahoma, with both squads finishing fourth overall at the multi-day tournament.
The Lady Porcupines were led by gold medal performances from Brystal Hedges and Liberty Crilly. Makayla Ballard and Zariah Nelson each earned second-place finishes, while Zoe Hooper added valuable team points with a fourth place showing.
On the boys side, Dominic Contreras, Evan Zorn and Daniel Wilson each battled their way to second place finishes in their respective weight classes. Robert Lawis placed third, Riley Hedges finished fifth, and Lucas Wright and Gino Barletta each secured sixth-place finishes.
