Access to food, isolation and transportation are among major barriers to well-being and mental health and chronic disease outcomes are worsening in multiple regions, an in-depth review by Texas Health Resources has revealed.
The review was conducted to identify the biggest needs and challenges impacting North Texans’ health, according to a press released from THR.
Based on the findings of the 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment, Texas Health has identified four priority areas to focus on through 2028:
