Springtown High School’s fine arts students enchanted guests with their rendition of the classic tale of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” Friday, Jan. 16., during opening night.
Lines of attendees crowded corridor doors in anticipation of the year’s biggest production — a project SHS Theatre Arts Director Josh Sexton said students have been working hard at since early fall.
“They’ve been working on this since September and they did fantastic. We practice two days a week and that's just because of scheduling conflicts. We have so many kids doing so many different things — they were here as often as they could be and learning things over breaks and vacations and all of that. They’re just fantastic,” Sexton said.
