The Springtown girls powerlifting team continued its dominant start to the season Tuesday, Jan. 13, capturing another tournament title and remaining undefeated in 2026.
The Lady Pines followed up their opening-meet championship with a first-place finish at Venus High School, marking the second straight tournament victory for the program this season. Springtown is now 2-for-2 in team titles as the early-season momentum continues.
The night belonged to senior Grace Lewis, who delivered a record-breaking performance by rewriting the Springtown record book in three categories. Lewis set new school marks in the squat (410 pounds), deadlift (380 pounds) and overall total (1,035 pounds), surpassing records that had stood since 2017 and 2022.
