Paying her ‘doos’ early on
At just 10 years old, Kinley Pitts is already a business owner with a name that’s hard to forget: The Doo Doo Crew.

In September 2025, while most fifth graders were busy settling into another school year, 10-year-old Springtown resident Kinley Pitts was occupied launching her new business, the Doo Doo Crew.

The Doo Doo Crew is a dog waste removal service that charges anywhere from $12-$18 per yard, depending on yard size and the number of pets. Every Saturday, with the help of her dad Kevin Pitts — who drives her from yard to yard — Kinley goes in fully prepared with sanitized tools to remove “doo.” Although she was fully prepared, in the beginning, Kinley admits the work could be a little messy.

“Sometimes there’s just like a big thing of throw up and it’s just like ugh,” she laughed.
