Springtown High School wrestling turned in an emotional and impressive performance at the District 3-5A Wrestling Tournament Thursday, Jan. 29, qualifying 12 athletes for the Region 1 meet.
The Porcupines and Lady Porcupines combined to send six boys and six girls to regionals after a day filled with big matches, hard-fought finishes and podium appearances.
“Emotions were high and they all had something to prove — and they did,” Springtown head coach Sawyer Cooper said.
