Springtown FFA student earns top honors at FWSSR

Springtown FFA members made a strong showing at the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, highlighted by a championship performance from Kylie Altom.

Altom earned Champion Senior Goat Showman honors in the 14–19 age division during competition held Jan. 30–31 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. She also placed second in the heavyweight market goat division, competing against junior exhibitors from across Texas.

The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo hosts thousands of junior exhibitors annually and awards nearly $272,000 in premiums, making it one of the most competitive youth livestock shows in the state.
