Porcupine wrestlers competed on the regional stage Feb. 6–7 at the Region 1 Class 4A Wrestling Tournament held at Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, sending 12 athletes to face some of the top competition in the region.
Six Porcupines represented Springtown on the boys side, including Evan Zorn, Brady Hasty, Dillon Hasty, Dominic Contreras, Daniel Wilson and Trent Owens. The Lady Porcupines were represented by Brystal Hedges, Makayla Ballard, Liberty Crilly, Ellinore Schmitz, Calie Wright and Zariah Nelson.
