The Springtown Senior Center hosted a town hall Feb. 11 featuring Precinct 1 Commissioner George Conley and Parker County Judge Pat Deen. The purpose of the town hall was to update residents about infrastructure and answer any questions.

The main topics of the town hall were bonds, transportation and financial health regarding the county and Springtown.

“We (Parker County) have an AA+ bond rating,” Deen said. “In 2028, the nontransportation debt to the county of Parker is zero. We owe no debt at all. We all know we just had a failed bond. I can’t go into the plan, but we do have a plan B that is hopefully not going to cost you a penny to get a justice center.”
