Springtown FFA members took part in the San Angelo Junior Breeding Heifer Show this week, continuing a busy stretch on the Texas stock show circuit.
The cattle barns at the San Angelo Stock Show were packed as hundreds of exhibitors from across the state gathered for the junior breeding heifer competitions. Action began at 8 a.m., with young exhibitors leading hundreds of animals representing more than half a dozen breeds into the show ring.
Judges evaluated each heifer on conformation and overall quality as exhibitors showcased months of hard work and preparation.
