$1.1B in monthly sales tax revenue sent to local governments in Texas

Cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts are set to receive $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for March, 2.1% more than in March 2025.

The allocations are based on sales made in January by businesses that report tax monthly.
