The Tri-County Flag Football League officially kicked off its spring season Saturday, March 28 at Springtown Elementary, with strong participation and community support highlighting opening day.
According to Brooklyn Brooks, events coordinator for Tri-County Flag Football, the league has between 150 and 200 players participating in its first spring season. The league includes age divisions of 4U, 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U.
Opening day featured nine games played across three fields. Games will continue every Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. throughout the season.
