SISD officials, staff and students gathered Thursday, March 26, for the groundbreaking of Littleton Springs Elementary School. City officials and community members were also in attendance.
“Today is more than just a groundbreaking. It’s a symbol of progress, a commitment to our students and it’s a reflection of what can happen when the community comes together with a shared vision,” Superintendent Shane Strickland said.
Strickland took a moment to recognize the 650 SISD staff members, the district’s leadership team, and the board of trustees for their role in advancing in the district’s vision. He also thanked the city and chamber of commerce for their ongoing support.
