The Lady Porcupines had an off night Tuesday at home, falling to Burkburnett in district softball action.
The Lady Bulldogs struck early, chasing starting pitcher Sage Jacobson after a quick start at the plate. Springtown turned to Kaylee Falcon in relief, who helped stabilize the game and provided a spark offensively.
Falcon delivered the highlight for the Lady Pines with a two-run home run, trimming the deficit and giving Springtown momentum midway through the contest.
