Springtown FFA sends three teams to state competition
Lady Porcupine Abigail Martin placed first overall in veterinary medicine to lead the SHS team to state.

Springtown High School FFA continues to build on its reputation as one of the area’s premier agricultural programs, turning in another standout spring competition season with multiple teams earning berths at the state level.

Leading the way were the Springtown FFA veterinary science and horse judging teams, both of which captured Area IV championships to punch their tickets to the upcoming state competitions.

The veterinary science team claimed the Area IV title behind an impressive individual performance from Abigail Martin, who finished first overall in the competition. Brooklyn May added a second-place individual finish, while Cyleigh Burnett placed fourth overall. Layla Jeffrey rounded out the championship squad.
