As the 2025-26 school year winds down, Springtown FFA members are closing out a productive competition and stock show season marked by growth, new opportunities and strong individual performances.

One of the highlights of the year came with the program’s first-ever meat judging team. Competing at the area contest hosted by Texas Tech University, the team placed 13th overall.

Members Danica Linders, Koby Beayrd, Gabriela Allen and Cason Serrano gained valuable experience in the process, learning how to evaluate and grade cattle carcasses, determine yield grades and identify where various cuts of meat originate.
