In front of a packed home crowd, the Springtown Lady Porcupines swung for the fences Friday night, April rolling to a commanding 16-4 win over Fort Worth Southwest in a one-game bidistrict playoff.
The Lady Pines’ offense came alive early and never slowed, pounding out 13 hits across the lineup and capitalizing on scoring opportunities to secure the bidistrict victory.
Leading the charge at the plate were Sage Masterson and Reiss DeLaFuente, who each collected three hits. DeLaFuente also drove in three runs, helping fuel a Springtown offense that consistently applied pressure inning after inning.
