BASEBALL

The Porcupine varsity ended the baseball regular season by splitting a pair of district games with Decatur. On Monday, April 20 the Porcupines traveled to Decatur and dropped the Eagles 4-2. On Thursday, April 23 Decatur visited Porcupine stadium and paid the Porcupines back with a 3-1 district win.

The Porcupine varsity then took on Decatur in a one-game district playoff Saturday, April 25 at Decatur, where the Pines fell to the Eagles 1-0. The Porcupines did qualify for the playoffs; bidistrict game details will be announced soon.

SOFTBALL

The Lady Pines varsity won its bidistrict matchup with Fort Worth Southwest. See story in this edition.

TRACK AND FIELD

Lady Pines and Porcupines qualified several athletes to the regional track meet in Lubbock.

Golf

Springtown Porcupine sophomore Dixie Mae Crain qualified for the UIL State Golf Championship.
