Springtown High School sophomore Dixie Crain is headed back to the biggest stage in Texas high school golf.
Crain will compete in the 2026 UIL Class 4A Girls State Golf Championship May 4-5 at Legends Golf Course in Edinburg. It marks her second consecutive trip to state, where she finished fourth as a freshman in 2025.
Returning to a familiar course, Crain said her preparation has focused less on mechanics and more on mindset.
