The Springtown High School rodeo team continues to build momentum this season, currently sitting in third place among more than 60 schools across North Texas as it prepares to send a strong group of competitors to the North Texas High School Rodeo Association finals. The finals of the NTHSRA will be May 29-30 at Cowtown Coliseum in Ft. Worth.

Leading the way is Logan Phillips, who qualified for the 2026 NTHSRA finals in multiple events, including barrel racing, goat tying — both the ride-up and walk-up variations — and pole bending. Phillips’ versatility has been a key factor in Springtown’s rise in the standings.

Paige Bunero also punched her ticket to nationals with qualifications in ribbon roping and breakaway roping, while Brinley Howard earned spots in both barrel racing and pole bending.
