Prince Hunt takes a lot of pride in his “hood rat car.”

Every Saturday morning, the downtown square in Springtown transforms into a showcase of chrome, horsepower and automotive history as vintage car owners gather to display their prized vehicles and share their passion with the public.

From 8-10 a.m., car enthusiasts from Springtown, Azle and surrounding communities meet on the square to talk cars, swap stories and admire a wide variety of classic and custom-built vehicles. Depending on the weather and the weekend, dozens of vehicles can line the streets around the square.

Saturday, May 30 featured several vintage automobiles ranging from restored muscle cars to unique custom creations.
