The Springtown High School Rodeo Team was well represented at the North Texas High School Rodeo Association Finals held May 29-30 at the historic Cowtown Coliseum, where the area's top rodeo athletes competed for year-end championships, scholarships, prizes and qualification opportunities to the Texas High School Rodeo Association State Finals.

The NTHSRA Finals serves as the season-ending championship event for the association and featured more than 355 student athletes from more than 90 North Texas high schools. Contestants competed in a variety of rodeo events while pursuing a chance to advance to the THSRA State Finals scheduled for June 4-13 in Abilene.

Springtown qualified three athletes for the prestigious NTHSRA finals with each competitor earning berths through strong performances during the regular season; however, none advanced to the THSRA finals.
