City commends employees for storm recovery, relief efforts after tornado
Springtown City Administrator recognized dozens of city employees for their dedication to the community as demonstrated by their response after an EF-1 tornado struck the area April 25. City Administrator David Miller recognized dozens of city employees during the Thursday, May 28 Springtown City Council meeting for their response and recovery efforts following the April 25 EF-1 tornado that impacted the community.

“Tonight I want to take just a few moments to recognize the extraordinary efforts of the city of Springtown employees in the aftermath of the tornado and storm that impacted our community on April 25,” Miller said. “In that moment of crisis, employees from across multiple departments came together with professionalism, urgency and unwavering commitment to serve and protect our residents.”

Miller commended public works employees, police officers and emergency management as they mobilized within an hour of the storm.
