SHS grad follows football journey from SHS to UFL
From Porcupine to pro
Springtown High School graduate Brendan Hall chose SMU out of high school to continue his football career.

Few athletes from Springtown High School have traveled a football path quite like Brendan Hall.

The 2021 Springtown valedictorian has gone from kicking and punting for the Porcupines to playing college football at Southern Methodist University and Montana State and now finds himself punting professionally for the Dallas Renegades of the United Football League.

Hall was a key contributor on two of the most successful teams in Springtown football history. As a junior in 2019, he helped the Porcupines reach the UIL Class 4A Division I state semifinals and finish 13-2. During his senior season in 2020, Springtown posted an 11-3 record and advanced to the regional quarterfinals.
