Future Lady Porcupines take field at summer softball camp
Head softball coach Carey Robertson had approximately 45 young Porcupines at softball camp June 1-3.

The future of Springtown softball was on display June 1-3 as Lady Porcupine head coach Carey Robertson and his staff hosted the annual Springtown Softball Camp at Lady Porcupine Softball Stadium.

A total of 45 campers in grades three through nine participated in the three-day camp, learning fundamentals and sharpening their skills under the direction of Robertson and members of the Springtown softball program.

The camp provided young athletes an opportunity to work on hitting, fielding, throwing, base running and other aspects of the game while also getting a firsthand look at the standards and work ethic that have helped make the Lady Porcupines one of the area's top programs.
