Cameron Gaston from Springtown finishes his heat race and qualifies for the main event.

The stands were packed and the engines were roaring Friday night at Boyd Raceway as Springtown brothers Cameron and Christian Gaston took to the dirt in another night of sport modified competition.

The Gaston brothers, the 2024 and 2025 Rookie of the Year award winners, once again demonstrated the determination that has made them fan favorites on the North Texas dirt track circuit, although the night produced very different outcomes for the two drivers.

Cameron Gaston turned in one of his strongest performances of the season, finishing fourth in the 22-car feature race after starting 11th on the grid. His impressive seven-position climb came after a third-place finish in his heat race and left him just shy of a podium finish.
