Springtown boys basketball coach Jason Riley wrapped up another successful summer basketball camp June 15-17 when more than 50 athletes in grades six through nine took part in three days of instruction and skill development.

The camp focused on teaching the fundamentals of the game, including ball handling, shooting, defensive techniques, proper footwork and the triple-threat position. Riley emphasized the importance of mastering the basics as players continue their basketball development.

"Our focus is always on fundamentals," Riley said. "We want these kids to learn the correct techniques and build a strong foundation that will help them be successful as they move through our program."
