Springtown High School junior Mariam Kolb has been named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Track and Field Super Elite Team following an outstanding season in the discus.
Kolb represented Springtown at the UIL State Track and Field Meet in Austin after qualifying in the discus and finished seventh in the state.
Her trip to Austin capped another successful season in which she won both the district and regional championships in the discus and established herself as one of the top throwers in Class 4A.
