Springtown High School's esports program continues to make its mark at the state and national levels.
The Porcupines delivered an impressive performance during the 2026 Texas Esports Scholastic Federation season, earning top finishes in multiple titles and advancing two teams to national competition in Orlando, Florida.
Fortnite Team One, made up of Bowdie Cantrell and Gabriel Ruvalcaba, finished second in the state among 64 competing duos. The Apex Legends trio of Brayden Arnold, Caden Rodgers and Burton Bark battled their way to a fourth-place finish at state.
