A look at the single-season marks at SHS that could prove nearly impossible to top

Senior Lady Porcupine Libby Tedder led her team to the regional finals with a single season record of 689 kills.

Records are made to be broken, but some seem likely to stand for a very long time.

It is always interesting to look back through the Springtown High School record book and wonder which accomplishments may never be matched. Several single-season marks stand out, but three in particular could prove difficult to top.

One of the toughest records in school history may belong to Lady Porcupines volleyball standout Libby Tedder. During the 2025 season, Tedder recorded an incredible 689 kills, which led the state and helped guide Springtown to a 43-10 record and a regional finals appearance.
