“I have played football now for about 10 years.”

“I do. I have a wiener dog named Trigger and another dog named Cole.”

“Yes, my mom and dad for sure.”
What is your favorite class in school?
“Does athletics count? It has to be English though, I like reading.”
Is there one moment in sports that you’ll never forget?
“Yes, the double overtime throw against Decatur two years ago — that’s probably the funnest game ever.”

“Oh, Michael.”
What has sports taught you about life?
“It’s taught me discipline and mental toughness for sure.”
What does life after high school look like?
“I would love the opportunity to play college football. No offers yet, maybe this year.”
What advice would you give younger athletes?
“Just stick with it, keep learning and trying to grow your game.”
