Springtown Football Camp for students entering second through sixth grades was held July 14-16 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Springtown High School indoor athletic facility. A large group of young athletes participated in the Porcupines' annual youth camp.
Campers rotated through drills focusing on offensive and defensive fundamentals, throwing and receiving, footwork, tackling technique, agility, teamwork and leadership. The camp provides younger athletes an opportunity to develop football fundamentals while becoming familiar with the Springtown program.
The camp concluded July 16 with the presentation of T-shirts and participation certificates to each camper.
