The Lady Pines basketball team wraps up camp with a group picture.

Springtown High School head girls basketball coach Ken Thompson welcomed more than 50 campers to the annual girls basketball camp July 14-16 at the SHS gym.

The three-day camp was open to girls entering second through ninth grades. Campers worked on fundamental basketball skills, including ball handling, shooting, passing, defense and footwork.

The camp also included drills, competitions and games designed to give participants opportunities to use the skills they learned.
