The Springtown Public Library is home to a bright new mural dedicated to celebrating the joy of reading, imagination and creativity.

While the mural was painted by muralist Lauren Fails, she gives all the credit to the library’s director Andie D’Avignon for coming up with the original idea.

“She actually came up with the concept,” Fails said. “It was really easy to work from what she created, and I think she deserves the credit for how fun it is.”
