Quinn Basso, a graduate of Springtown High School, has been selected as the recipient of the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program for Senate District 30. Basso is a student at Weatherford College and an Air Force ROTC cadet within Texas Christian University's Detachment 845.
Texas Senator Brent Hagenbuch, who represents District 30, made the announcement.
"Congratulations to Quinn Basso on being selected as this year's Texas Armed Services Scholarship recipient for Senate District 30," Hagenbuch said. "His willingness to answer the call to serve our nation speaks volumes about his character, leadership and commitment to something greater than himself. Texas is proud to invest in outstanding young students like Quinn, and I have no doubt he will serve our country with honor and distinction. We are grateful for his dedication to protecting the freedoms that make America the greatest nation in the world."
