The Springtown Independent School District board of trustees approved the district’s 2026-31 strategic plan during its Monday, July 27 board meeting, placing its primary focus on improving students’ academic experience and aligning standards of instruction throughout the district.

Assistant Superintendent of Academics Tiffany Cano said the plan was developed over the past year through a partnership with Education Service Center Region 11 and the Texas Strategic Leadership program.

“Through work with Texas Strategic Leadership, they really emphasized the use of the Effective District Framework which has six different levers to work on,” she said.
