“My name is Trent Owens, and I am a senior at Springtown High School.”
How long have you played football?”
“Since peewee, all here in Springtown. I play right tackle on the offensive line.”
Do you have any pets?
“I have two dogs; they are French bulldogs. Their names are Troup and Luna.”
Do you have a shout out to anyone?
“Yes, my mom and the rest of my lineman.”
What is your favorite class in school?
“I know that’s hard … welding.”
Is there one moment in sports that you’ll never forget?
“Yes, I can’t remember what game it was, but we ran a pass play and Kaine threw it to Pilot and he ended up catching it behind his back where his butt was. It was pretty funny.”
Lebron or Michael?
“I’m going to go with Michael.”
What has sports taught you about life?
“There is always going to be hard things that you need to overcome. It may take some time, but you will eventually overcome it.”
What is your favorite sport?
“It’s going to be between football and wrestling; I’m also in powerlifting.”
What advice would you give younger athletes?
“Put the work in, even when you don’t want to. Get up, go work, eat right, get some good sleep.”
