“I’ve been in band since the sixth grade. I play the saxophone and I’m a drum major.”
Do you have any pets?
“Yes, I have my cat and he’s my baby. His name is Apple Cider. I also have a dog named River.”
Do you have a shout out to anyone?
“Yes, to my fellow band members and drum majors.”
What is your favorite class in school?
“My favorite classes in school have been math classes.”
Is there one moment in band you’ll never forget?
“Yes, the moment when we were at area and we heard that we were going to state. Such a cool moment.”
LeBron or Michael?
“Michael B. Jordan? I don’t really know sports.”
What has being in the band taught you about life?
“Being in the band has taught me not to take advantage of everything, so take your time with it and always have fun.”
What does life after high school look like?
“I want to go to college, don’t know where yet. I think I want to be in real estate.”
What advice would you give younger athletes?
“Make your years last. I was very shy to meet everyone and wish I would have met people sooner because it’s actually a lot of fun.”
