Springtown football opened fall practice Aug. 3 as the Porcupines gear up for the 2026 season.
Expectations are high after another successful season, and Springtown enters the fall with statewide recognition. Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine ranked the Porcupines No. 3 in Class 4A Division I behind Stephenville and Lindale.
Springtown will rely on experience at several key positions, beginning with senior quarterback Kaine Hill. Hill returns to lead the offense and gives the Porcupines an experienced presence behind center as they face a challenging schedule.
