Springtown High School volleyball opened 2026 play with a pair of scrimmages as head coach Abby Zipoy and the Lady Porcupines began evaluating their lineup before regular season play.
Springtown traveled to Azle Aug. 7 to scrimmage Azle, Lake Worth and Tolar. The early-season competition allowed the Lady Porcupines to see how different rotations and combinations worked against outside competition.
The Lady Porcupines were back in action the next day, traveling to Aubrey Aug. 8 for another round of scrimmages.
