Growing up, I would have called myself the runt of the group — the tag-along little brother.
Before joining my elementary school’s chess club, I spent Saturdays watching my brother and fellow classmates battle other schools.
I enjoyed the times we spent together through the rounds of chess at each tournament. I loved that part of the chess club more than the actual game itself.
