The Springtown Porcupines saw preseason action with a road scrimmage against Arlington Heights in Fort Worth Thursday, Aug. 13, giving head coach Brian Hulett and his staff their first chance to see the 2026 team against another opponent.
Springtown enters the season ranked No. 3 in Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Class 4A Division I preseason poll.
For Hulett, the first scrimmage was about getting his players on the field, staying healthy and finding the areas that still need work.
