Senior outside hitter Libby Tedder made Springtown High School history Aug. 11, becoming the Lady Porcupines’ all-time career kills leader during a home match against Ponder.
Tedder recorded her 1,584th career kill, surpassing the previous school record of 1,583 set by her older sister.
The milestone capped a strong opening night for Springtown after preseason scrimmages at Azle and Aubrey. The Lady Porcupines opened the regular season at home against Peaster and Ponder.
