“My name is Blaklee Hennesay and I am a junior.”

How long have you been a cheerleader?

“I’ve been a cheerleader since I was 5 years old. I also run track.”

Do you have any pets?

“Yes, I have a dog named Goose.”

Do you have a shout out to anyone?

“Yes, my whole family. Thank you for supporting me through everything.”

What is your favorite class in school?

“My favorite classes in school have been history classes.”

Is there one moment in band you’ll never forget?

“Yes, our football game against Decatur my freshman year — double overtime win.”

Do you have a pre-game routine or superstition you must do before a game?

“Um, I think we just kind of take pictures. It’s a big thing and it’s something we enjoy doing together.”

What advice would you give younger athletes?

“My advice would be ‘Don’t take anything for granted.’ I just want to live through the moment.”

Tell me about your Thanksgiving plans

“We are headed to New York City to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. We auditioned for it and it’s a very big opportunity.”
