Parker County indictments

A Parker County grand jury met Aug. 20 in Weatherford to consider evidence in criminal cases presented by the Parker County District Attorney’s Office. Among the 50 indictments handed down were those against three Springtown area residents, two Weatherford area residents and four Azle area residents.

An indictment is a formal accusation and is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

• Xander Lee Cason, 20, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, less than 1 gram. The charge is a state jail felony.
• Jensen Mackenzie Johnson, 38, of Weatherford, was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The charge is a second-degree felony.
• Edward Neil Lowrey, 46, of Azle, was indicted on a charge of online solicitation of a minor under the age of 14 as well as on a charge of online solicitation of a minor with sexual conduct. Both charges are felonies in the second degree.
• Tyler Jay Powell, 26, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2, 4-400 grams. The charge is a second-degree felony.
• Savanah Brooke Nachiell Trice, 30, of Azle, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, less than 1 gram. The charge is a state jail felony.
• Brooke Tylyn Baloga, 32, of Weatherford, was indicted on a charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1, 4-200 grams. The charge is a felony in the first degree.
• Ethan Eli Martinez, 20, of Azle, was indicted on a charge of continuous violence against the family, as well as on a charge of assault against a family or household member impeding breath or circulation. He was also indicted on a charge of violating a bond or protective order two or more times within a 12-month period. All three are third-degree felony charges.
• Jason David Matthews, 46, of Azle, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 1 or 1-B, less than 1 gram. The charge is a state jail felony.
• Isaiah Wesley Preciado, 20, of Springtown, was indicted on a charge of continuous violence against the family. The charge is a third-degree felony.
