“My name is Kylee McNeely and I am a senior.”
How long have you been playing volleyball?
“I’ve been playing volleyball for 10 years.”
Do you have any pets?
“Oh yes, I have two dogs at home. Their names are Clyde and Jett.”
Do you have a shout out to anyone?
“Yes, my mom for sure.”
What is your favorite class in school?
“My favorite is English. I’m really good at writing essays and stuff like that.”
What advice would you give younger players?
“I would probably tell them that as much of a big deal as it is now, it won’t be a big deal next week. Take a breather and just let it go.”
Do you have a pre-game routine or superstition you must do before a game?
“Yes, it’s like a certain way I swipe my feet — make sure all the dust is off my feet — and I tap it on the floor.”
Michael or LeBron?
“I don’t watch, but probably LeBron.”
What does life after high school look like?
“Hopefully play volleyball in college somewhere, and I want to major in finance.”
What has sports taught you about life?
“I feel like it’s definitely something you can’t do by yourself. You need to lean on people and help people and ask for advice and stuff like that.”
