Storm relief case managers available
Storm recovery case managers are available to connect with residents in need of storm relief.
Residents facing unresolved storm damage to their homes or those needing food, shelter, water or other storm-related recovery assistance are encouraged to reach out.

42nd Wild West Festival arrives Sept. 19
The 42nd annual Wild West Festival returns from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, in downtown Springtown.
The event will feature more than 200 vendor booths, food and the charm of Springtown’s historic downtown.
Shuttle service will be available to and from Springtown High School, 915 W. Highway 199, and First Baptist Church, 500 N. Main St.
Quilting, Arts & Crafts sale set Sept. 19
Love & Stitches will host a Quilting, Arts & Crafts sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 in the reception hall at First Baptist Church of Springtown, at the corner of Fifth Street and N. Ave. A in Springtown.
Browse handmade quilts and throws, kitchen accessories, bags, totes, hats, bows, jellies and jams and pillowcase dolls. Payment must be made by cash or check, and all donations benefit Lottie Moon International Missions.
After shopping, catch the shuttle to the Springtown Square for Wild West Festival.
Fall Festival set Sept. 26
First United Methodist Church, 109 W. Third St., will host its Fall Festival at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26.
The event will include food items, family activities, crafts, a pulled pork plate lunch and an immunization clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.
A silent auction will run from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a live auction at 1 p.m.
City Farmers Market returns Sept. 26
The city of Springtown’s Farmers Market is slated to return from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Newby Pavilion.
Vendors will offer fresh produce, homemade baked goods, handmade goods and specialty foods. For more information, contact [email protected].
Young Business Builders slated Oct. 24
Cheldan Homes will host Young Business Builders, a children’s entrepreneur market, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 24 at Terra Vista Community, 201 Terra Vista Blvd. The new community is west of Agnes.
The event will give children of all ages an opportunity to sell handmade goods, baked treats, arts and crafts and other items while building confidence and business skills. Children of all ages are welcome.
