Longtime Springtown coach, educator and former school board member Jody Lowery died Aug. 26, leaving behind a legacy that reached generations of Springtown students and athletes.
Springtown Mayor Mike Kelley, a former Springtown ISD superintendent, described Lowery’s impact on the community simply.
“Jody is a legend,” Kelley said. “People love him. He was an icon to so many Springtown athletes.”
